Rules & Policies

--- The instructor will be addressed as SERGEANT.

--- All squad members will be in formation
ON TIME every day.  Sessions are at
0540, so that means it STARTS at 0540.

--- All squad members will show respect to other members.

--- Each squad member will wear proper workout attire
EACH DAY. We will look
like a unit and that means uniformity.  The dress code will be:

Boot Camp T-Shirt
Green T-shirt (Long and/or short sleeved) on Wednesdays
Black Shorts (black workout pants if the weather suggests so)
Socks (no Legwarmers or Harlem Globetrotter Socks)
Running or Tennis Shoes

---  Class will not be cancelled due to weather, so
DO NOT be a no-show for class
due to rain or cold.

---  If you cannot make it to a session, don’t be afraid to call the instructor.  I might
give you some crap for it, but I am not insensitive.  Just let me know that you won’t
be attending for that day(s).

---
FULL PARTICIPATION is a demand in this class.  If you are not participating,
you will be sent home.

---  HAVE FUN!!  This is hard work, but it should be fun.  Do your best to
enjoy it.
WARNING!!!:

This class is intended to give those who are interested a fitness program with
military-style exercises and military-style instruction. That means that the
instructor(s) will do some yelling, and he/she will say things that may or may not
offend you.

If you are not comfortable with this type of environment or have
problems with taking and following orders, then by all means, DO NOT
attend this course.

One of the main goals of this course (should be one of each person’s goals) is
to push each individual to the limit. Health and fitness are about progression, not
maintenance. If you only do as many repetitions as you can until you start to feel
the muscle exhaustion, you will not progress. Push beyond that point. If you’re
not in this course to work harder than ever, then you are wasting my time and
yours. Remember this: “It’s better to shoot for the stars and reach the moon,
than to never try at all."
