PT Tests

In this course, every participant will take a PT test in the 1st, 3rd and 5th week.
This will allow, not just the instructor(s) but also, the participants to see how much
progress they have made throughout the course. The maximum score is 300
points and can be raised even higher if one should exceed even that standard.
Points are tallied based off the actual Army APFT Score Chart. Age and gender
are what project the points you receive for your performance. The test will consist
of a 2mile run, Push-ups for 2mins, and Sit-ups for 2mins. Each person will try to
do as many push-ups as possible in 2mins. The same goes for sit-ups. The 2mile
Run is not a race, but a test for the INDIVIDUAL. Remember, this class is to
improve your health and your mind. 110% effort is all that is required.
